A commercial lease deal that took over 12 months to finalize has finally been approved by the council with both tenant and owner extremely satisfied with the result.
Jordan Cowen, multiple franchise owner of Anytime Fitness took possession of the 816 sqm freestanding office/warehouse facility located at 50 Taylor Street, Bulimba last month with only one objective in mind. With limited fitness facilities in the area, Anytime Fitness Bulimba will become Australia’s First Platinum Club - the ‘go to’ gym for all ages at a time when the fitness and healthy lifestyle movement is thriving.
Mr. Cowen went on to express his delight at the location and how a fitness establishment in this area will further compliment the surrounding residential developments and influx of new residents. “When I came across the property searching for new locations I knew we wouldn’t get another chance to be in an area as established and sought after as Bulimba. Immediately it was clear to me that a location with such a high rate of development would benefit greatly from a fitness center and I had to move on it quickly.”
The property was listed with Sean O’Connor who negotiated the deal, and when he received the inquiry, knew immediately that it would be perfect match for such a business to be in that area.
“Bulimba is such a tightly held precinct with limited opportunity for commercial users, especially in this size bracket.” O’Connor commented, “when I received the call from Jordan back in 2015 I knew we would be in for a long haul but thankfully it all went through in the end.”
Once a heavily industrial zoned precinct, Bulimba has progressed since the 90’s into what has now become one of Brisbane’s most renowned and reputable inner city suburbs with house prices continuing to exceed over the years.
